20th May 2007 – Introduction of Scarborough PLUSBUS Scheme

The Scarborough PLUSBUS scheme has now been introduced.

Scarborough PLUSBUS provides inclusive bus travel for passengers travelling to Scarborough by train, and it is possible to buy a combined bus and rail ticket by requesting a Scarborough PLUSBUS Ticket when purchasing your Rail Ticket.

A Scarborough PLUSBUS Ticket is valid on most bus services in the town, including Coastliner services between Peasholm Park and Seamer.

PLUSBUS Season Tickets are also available when purchasing Rail Season Tickets for 7 days, 1 month, 3 months and 12 months.

Scarborough PLUSBUS Add-on Fares are: -

• Day: £2.70
• 7 Day: £8.50
• 1 Month: £30.00
• 3 Months: £85.00
• Annual: £290.00
