Leeds - The Uk's Favourite City

www.leeds.gov.uk

Shopping in LeedsTruly the favourite city centre for shopping in the UK, Leeds city centre offers an exciting mix of traditional and modern. Much of the city centre is pedestrianised with a square mile of variety from wide streets to narrow alleys, from enclosed arcades to attractive boulevards, for you to wander along at your leisure.

The four main shopping centres; Leeds Shopping Plaza, The Headrow Centre, Merrion Centre and St. John Centre; offer a wide range of well known outtlets, in enclosed, bright, yet airy indoor settings.

Coastliner takes you direct to the city centre every 30 minutes most of the day on Mondays to Saturdays, from Malton, York, and Tadcaster, so there are journeys to suit everyone. Buses run approximately hourly weekday evenings and Sundays, with the last bus returning from Leeds at 23:00 hours every day.
